【英语语法】独立主格结构的省略，当独立主格结构的逻辑主语表示一般人，如we，one，ymi时，因不言自明之故，常可省略，此用法常用于下列表达方式中。

generally speaking  一般来说

strictly speaking 严格地说

talking of   谈到

speaking of  说到

judging from  由......来判断

taking all things into consideration/into account  把一切都考虑在内

considering 考虑到......

例如：

Other things being equal，a man who expresses himself effectively is sure to succeed more rapidly than a man whose command of language is poor.

【译文】其它条件一致的情况下，语言表达能力强的人肯定会比语言能力差的人更快地获得成功。

Considering the amount of money she paid，the cat was dear in more ways than one.

【译文】想到她所支付的钱数，这只猫的贵重也就不是一方面的了。

Taking all things into consideration/into account，a conclusion can be drawn that this theory should be put into practice.

【译文】考虑到所有的因素，可以得出结论:应该将此理论付诸实施。

Speaking of history,China should be one of the oldest countries in the world.

【译文】讲到历史，中国应该是世界上最古老的国家之一

Judging from his accent，the foreigner should be from Australia.

【译文】从口音来判断，这个外国人应该来自澳大利亚。
