什么是过去进行时

      过去进行时主要表示过去正在进行或发生的情况或动作。如：

      Susan decided not to work on the program at home because she didn ' t want her parents to know what she______。

      A. has done       B. had done       C. was doing       D. is doing

      【分析】答案选C。用过去进行时表示过去正在进行的动作。因decided和didn't want都是过去式，所以排除逸项A和D ；因"做"发生在"決定"之后，而不是之前，故不能用过去完成吋，排除B。

      【注】 与always, forever,frequently等副词连用，可表示某种感情的色彩。如：

      She was forever complaining.她老是抱怨。(厌烦)

      She was always thinking of others.她老是想到别人。(赞扬)
