The Annoyance Of Growing Up

As a small child, I always want to grow up soon, because when I grow up, I can know what kind of job I should do. Sometimes I am so confused about my future. If I don't study well, what will happen to my life. All of these problems annoy me all the time. It seems that the only way to solve them is to be independent. My parents tell me that they want me to be happy and enjoy every stage of my life. They understand the things I worry about, because they have the same problem when they are children. I will figure out what I want some day in the process of growing up.

2.Dear editor,

My biggest problem is that I'm too busy. When I was young, I used to have so much free time, but these days I stay in school all day. Before I started high school, I used to spend a lot of time watching my favourite TV programmes, but now I have to study. I love music, and my mother used to take me to concerts. These days, I hardly ever have time for concerts. I have to go to different classes at weekends.

I'm very tired. I really miss the old days. I wish I wouldn't grow up.

Best wishes
Rose Tang

3.“Growing Pains” seems full of knowledge and experience. So it does because all of us have growing pains and also growing gains in our lives.
Growing up is not a very enjoyable time. It means I have to work hard in studying and in family. There’s always so much homework given by teachers and so many arguments between the parents and me. The time is fair, but it seems it gives pains three quarters and only one quarter to gains.
But gains give me power and confidence. Successes and friendship make me happy and enjoyable. We played with snow in the winter that seldom snows, we flew kites in the night that usually belongs to homework, we ate several ice creams that almost made us cold. We picked up leaven that no longer high up!
Although pains are always more than gains, I believe both of them make my life more colorful

 The Annoyances in Growing Up

Since I went to high school, I have had many annoyances.

On the one hand, I am under great pressure on my study. I need to take the exams every month. Once I am falling behind other students, I will feel that I am not doing well. I always want to be the best, but things can’t go on my way. On the other hand, I don’t want to talk to my parents, if they ask me the questions, I will answer them with few words. I think they won’t understand me, so I am not willing to communicate with my parents.

I know I am in the adolescence, my body grows fast, changes happen on me, and my emotion is unstable. So I need to learn to adjust myself and get used to these changes. I need to open my heart and have less pressure.

Growing pains

Life journey, unpredictable, can not avoid that big and small annoyance. Think back to your past, there have been pain, there have been sadness, but most of that is some temporary annoyance, over time naturally disappear. But there is also a minor annoyance, has been with me until now, that is my glasses.

Speaking of it, it has been with me for nearly 10 years. When I first wore glasses in primary school, I did not feel beautiful, but I did not feel that it caused me much trouble. But with the growth of age, glasses degree gradually increased, a variety of inconvenience began to show.

The most obvious is the inconvenience of learning. Although I have a pair of nearly 600 degree glasses on my shelf, it would be bad if I met a teacher who wrote a little bit less or scrawled. I stretched my neck and stared at it, until I could see the pain in my neck. All I could do was look around, writing from the east and from the west. Copying not all notes is actually only a small trouble, the most miserable is computer class. I try to rest my eyes before each class. But after 45 minutes, the eyes are still tired. Computers are different from other classes. The formulas and words rolled on the screen like a revolving lamp throughout the lesson. After a class, my eyes were almost bulging out, very uncomfortable.

However, with so many inconveniences, it seems to me tolerable and insurmountable. There was another inconvenience which brought me irreparable losses, which I could not bear. I have been fond of playing football since I was a child. This time, I joined the class team and prepared to play with several like-minded teammates. In the end, we finished sixth! People do not say, I also know that their performance is really unsatisfactory. Playing the guard, I always play a little bit, afraid of broken glasses; Charge forward when, always afraid of the other side's fierce closing down, shovel down his own, so that broke the glasses. Take off the glasses to kick, more grab blind, connect two team members to distinguish clearly, return to talk about what pass organization?

Actually, wear the trouble of glasses again more than these! This among the students who do not wear glasses is certainly not to understand. Therefore, I would like to remind these students to protect your eyes, may you always be able to look into the eyes, have a bright world.

Time went by

Growing pains come to me like a tidal wave. When will they subside? When will there be a clean land for me to stop and rest? I asked myself more than once.

Memories of childhood are always good. I ran back down the deep, silent corridor of time, until the face of my youth bloomed again in the dim space. When I came back to my childhood, I saw that when I was three or four years old, I yearned for going to kindergarten, because it was boring at home and there were some kids there. When I really came to the kindergarten, I saw other people carrying schoolbags to school, and there would be days off, I was very envious, so I looked forward to growing up soon. In this way, childhood days in the naive waiting slowly drift away. Why is the three years of kindergarten so long, when I grew up only to find that this is perhaps the most carefree time of my life, it is so short, all good memories are hidden there - spring breath, summer night noise...

Suddenly one day I finally went to school. After all, dreams are far from reality, and school life is totally different from the "blueprint" I drew in my childhood. Heavy study, complex interpersonal relationships, and endless homework. My childhood ended at the first step of entering school. Is this the beginning of life?

I remember seeing the sky from the gaps between the branches was very high, a blue that was as soft as down and as clear as spring water. A leaf floated down, whirled and turned against it, and at last parted from the branches and kissed the earth in a mournful, birdlike manner.

I only found myself growing up when people around me stopped treating me like a child. I often recall the past and always hope to grow up, just like when I was a child, I hope to go to kindergarten, and I hope to go to school in kindergarten, until now... Probably the ignorance of the future, but also the vision of the future, driving me to look forward to the future. There is always a distance between reality and imagination. When the future comes, there is an indeterminate attachment to the past.

Now I'm beginning to doubt Doubts about the future can be more scary, because too much reality makes me understand that as I grow up, setbacks grow with me. I have been avoiding growing up from the very beginning, avoiding growing up from the troubles, and from the very beginning looking forward to growing up, looking forward to growing up free. I am constantly wandering in hope and memory, living between the past and the future, as if I have never had the present, but I do live in the present. Why do I always hate the present and miss the present when it is gone?

Maybe it's because the future is unknown and the past is behind us.

The growth of life is like the fate of that leaf, no matter how thousand turns can not resist the power of time. The past is like the wind. Youth is a dream. Past clouds and clouds, years and scars. The passing years told me that the thorns ahead will not be reduced. Facing the bumpy road, I speak to myself. I feel sorry for myself and love myself.

01
Everyone has their own worries, and my latest worry is the fear of sleeping alone.

On my ninth birthday, my mother said to me kindly, "now that you are grown up, you are going to sleep alone." I listened very reluctantly, but saw the mother a resolute appearance, knew to say more also useless, had to reluctantly agree. That night, I shut the Windows and doors, then turned off the lights and got into bed. I lay on the bed, dark around, I couldn't see my fingers. I was so scared. The more I thought about it, the more scared I became. I covered my head tightly with the quilt and shrank to the bottom of the bed. However, I felt it was not safe, so I got up and turned on the lamp. But after a while, I felt the silence around me was a little scary. I couldn't help running to my mother's room. When my mother saw me coming, she said to me, "yi yi, don't be afraid. I nodded. My mother took me back to my room, sat down next to me, patted me and said, "don't think too much. Go to bed." Perhaps I was so tired that I soon fell asleep. The rest of the night, when I slept alone, I was always afraid and ran to my mother. I feel embarrassed, but I can't help thinking about the demons.

Well, when am I going to be able to sleep alone? This is my biggest worry now!

02.
My troubles happen every night, and that's my third and fourth upper right teeth. Do you know why? They are two decayed teeth with food embedded in them every day.

One night, my mother and I were checking the two teeth at the sink. The mother took the floss, placed it carefully between the teeth, jumped up and down, pulled back and forth, trying to pick out the food. But the food did not move. Mother picked up the water floss, the gap on the teeth, open the switch, "hua lahua" a thin stream of water rushing. After a while, my mouth was filled with water. I gargled loudly and spat out the water. I looked down and there was nothing in the sink. It was still stuck between my teeth.

Mother reluctantly called father to help. Dad raised the phone high in the air and turned on the flashlight to help shine the light. The mother opened the water pressure, picked up the water pressure line and repeated several times. Suddenly, I felt a pain in my mouth. I closed my mouth and spat out the water. Looking at the bloody pieces of meat in the sink, I gritted my teeth and thought: you little villain, let me suffer, finally left my teeth gaps! My neck was already sore, and my father was drenched by the water.

That's my problem, my two annoying little cavities.

Growing pains

Step over the flower season such as song, through the rainy season such as poetry, suddenly look back to find: the laughter of the past has quietly gone, the eyes of the eyes of the child sunset, has been taken away by the geese, replaced by the endless troubles!

That day, I watched TV, while knocking melon seeds, enjoy a good weekend. Suddenly, mother with a bag pushed into the door and happily took out the mysterious things. I was curious and excited for a second: would it be a snack? Could it be an animal novel? Or maybe... Many possibilities flashed through my mind. Suddenly, a terrible thought crossed my mind: could it be a series of test papers such as "protect you to win the first prize"? I began to pray, not the test paper, in a few seconds all the gods have prayed. But god and various immortals partial not to help me, as expected is the examination paper, or a large pile of examination paper, suddenly, I feel my head is going to blow up, very anxious to immediately disappear in this world. But the mother was excited to say to me: "I heard that the elder brother of the home is to use this test paper to take an examination of key middle school, you will soon enter a higher school to take an examination of, I also give you to try to buy... "At this moment, I have a ghost, the words behind did not hear a word.

Next, I followed my mother like a walking dead, carrying the test paper into the room. I will be a pile of papers on the desk, the heart of the fantasy mother did not tear the answer, but the fantasy is full, reality is very bone. The clear tear marks on the back of the test paper were like a gust of wind, ruthlessly blowing out the flame of the last hope in my heart. I sat down helplessly and began to move the "homework mountain" like a fool moving a mountain. Though I was in my room, my mind had wandered away, and time had slipped away from my blank eyes. I was not easy to move the "homework mountain" half, is to have a rest, the results just stretch a lazy, mother will put another pile of homework on top. 'oh - no! "I screamed at the top of my lungs. But no matter how hard I struggled, I could not get rid of the control of the "homework mountain".

Growing pains are so many, just like the vast sea. When will my ship of growth reach shore? When can I get rid of this endless trouble?

Everyone has some troubles growing up, so do I. My biggest worry is being short. I don't know why I am so short. Ma xx, who is younger than me, is taller than me, xu xx, who is younger than me, and zhang xx, who is a little older than me, is taller than me.

Once, my father took me out to play, just met one of his colleagues. As soon as he saw me, he asked, "what grade are you in?" "Sixth grade." "I thought you were in fifth grade? He was surprised. After listening to these words, I said to myself, "am I that short?

Short, not only will bring others a lot of misunderstanding, but also will bring me trouble. For example: in class, Mr. Zhang will let me to clean the blackboard, but, math teacher zhang grows tall, nature on the blackboard writing is also relatively tall. Every time I clean the blackboard, I jump up and clean it. Otherwise, the blackboard won't be clean. Besides, there is a bookcase in our study room. On the top of the bookcase there are my favorite books and some interesting toys. Once, I want to put the bookcase top of a telescope down to play, because I grow a little short, can not reach, had to move a chair, oneself stand on the chair, so as to take it down. Really trouble!

Recently, there was a parents' meeting. When we finished school, my father saw me in the front row of the school line. Then look at the back, all the students are almost taller than me, my father said I grow short, I also feel a little short, so after going home, the Internet looked up how to do to grow tall, now I stretch the ligament every day, I believe that soon I will be able to bid farewell to the trouble.

Mike: Can I talk with you for a second dad?

Jason: Sure.

Mike: In your office.Kids!

Jason: So, you wanted to talk about something...

Mike: Yeah, erm, mostly I just wanted to mention how smoothly things have been running, since the wife went back to work, and you moved your practice back into the house.

Jason: Well thank you.

Mike: Dad, we've been friends now for a long time...right?

Jason: Off and on, yes.

Mike: I know, I love that. See dad, you know that dance hall place I mentioned this morning...

Jason: "The House of Sweat".

Mike: Yeah, yeah. Jerry and I were talking and we decided...

Jason: Jerry?

Mike: Yeah, Jerry Delish. He's an older friend of mine, an excellent driver, with two years ofdrivers A.

Jason: Two years of drivers A?

Mike: Yeah, you see in his first class he ran over a dog...but he drove beautifully after that,and we're talking one tiny, wreckless little dog here dad.

Jason: Tough break.

Mike: So anyway I was thinking that maybe we could go down there tonight, and Jerry woulddrive so you wouldn't have to....

Jason: What would your mother say?

Mike: Mom? I guess she would say...what's the phrase I'm looking for here dad?

Jason: NO!!

不准!

Mike: Yeah that's it. I guess that means I can't go, right?

Jason: Well, it just means I don't like you coming in, and trying to get away with something.That's not the relationship I wanna have with you.

Mike: I'm sorry dad.

Jason: Alright now look. Now that I'm in charge at home, we can try things my way.

Mike: Alright!!

Jason: You don't even know what "my way" is?

Mike: Sure I do dad, it's a Sinatra song.

Jason: You're workin a fine line here Mike. Ok look, here's the deal. I'll give you a little morefreedom, you've got to promise me a lot more responsibility.

Mike: Hey, no problem dad. I swear, I am ready for total responsibility

Jason: Mike, I'm not ready for total responsibility.

Mike: You're right, sorry.

Jason: Ok? You go out and have a good time. Just remember what we talked about.

Mike: Absolutely dad, thanks, I promise.

例如:My dear father,Dear Tom等。
例如:Dear Prof. Tim Scales, Dear Dr.John Smith。

(1)写给家人、亲戚,用Your loving grandfather,Lovingly yours,Lovingly等;
(2)写给熟人、朋友,用Yours cordially,Yours affectionately等;
(3)对上级、长辈用Yours obediently(Obediently yours),Yours respectfully(Respectfully yours)等;
(4)写业务信函用Truely yours(Yours truely),Faithfully yours(Yours faithfully)等。
