1.Tell me a little bit about yourself .

I was born in a small town in Hunan Province .Where I aslo went to high school.I studied International Economics and Trade at university and then ,so ,after I graduated ,I worked for an Import and Export company in Shenzhen for one year .Which was great fun.

I’ve always love learning and teaching English .So I suppose it’s natural that I become an English teacher .I’ve worked in a variety of roles and companies .Which I’ve learned a lot from .But now I am ready for new chanllenge.

2.Where do you see yourself in five years ?

I don't know exactly .But the most important thing is that I continue to learn and grow in my career .I'm the kind of person who needs new challenges to stay focused.I might even start my own business.because that's something I've always wanted to do at some point in my life .

3.What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Firstly,I'm very good at working with other people .For example. In my last ob,I always tried to encourage my colleagues and create a good atmosphere. On the other hand ,I suppose I can be a little bit careless sometimes.because I'm not the kind of person who focuses on details.Coming back to strengths.I'm very calm, and I can keep a cool head in very stressful situations.

4.What is your leader ship style ?

First of all,I'm quite a hands-off manager ,For instance,if one of my team has a proect.I'll keep an eye on things,But I don't need to be involved in every detail . I'm also very approachable.in that I make sure my team know they can come to me with problems or questions at any time .Finally I like to lead from the front .That means that if everyone's working late to meet a deadline,I make sure I'm there with them.

5.Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging situation at work.

Situation:Once,We realised three days before a proect dealine that two of our teams were using incompatible software tools.

Task: As the project manager ,I had to find a way to deal with this without causing any delays .

Action:I talked to both team leaders and we made a plan for one team to convert their work into a different format,With help from some staff from other departments.

Result:It was very close but we managed to get everything done on time .

6.Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated excellent customer service?

Situation:There was one time when a customer's order hadn't arrived .and we didn't know what had happened to it .

Task: The customer was very unhappy.and I had to try to solve the problem for him .

Action: I arranged for a replacement to be sent, thinking we could find out what happened to the previous order later.

Result: In the end .The customer was happy that I could solve his problem quickly and simply.

S-Situation.

T-Task:

R-Result:

7.Why do you want this job?

Creativity is very important to me .and I've always wanted to work in an environment where I can innovate and find my own solutions to challenges.I also feel that your company will continue to evolve in the future, and I like the idea of contributing to that development .

8.Why should we hire you ?

I believe that great customer service starts with good communication, which is a strength of mine .I also think that in customer service.you need to care about what you're doing .I care about helping others and as such I believe you would find me to be a respectful and effective team member who can fit with the established traditions of your company .

 1. Introduce yourself briefly in one minute.

2. Describe your personal qualities.

3. What activities or internship have you participated in?

I'm an intern at VoiceTube. I am in responsible for operating the Facebook fan page, and boosting 500 fan page likes in each week.

4. Why are you interested in this job?

I can't agree with your company's vision more. Our value systems are matched, so your company is the best choice.

5. What challenges have you faced and how did you solve it.

I have faced many challenges in my life, and the toughest challenge I have faced was to complete my MBA project work within 45 days. I had to collect many information and organize them. To prepare a complete project within this course of time was the toughest job, but with my hard work, dedication and the help from my supervisor, I have successfully completed the challenge.

6. What are your strengths?

My strongest trait is my leadership skills. I was leading a big presentation in my college and the presentation went extremely well and I received a lot of compliments.

7. What are your weaknesses?

Sometimes I put too much emphasis on details since I am a perfectionist.

8. Why should we hire you?

I think I am the best candidate as I have abundant experiences in terms of marketing and customer management. I'm also capable of adapting quickly to a new environment and working well with a team.

9. Are you planning for further study?

If I find myself not competent enough at work and my supervisor regard it necessary to have further studies.

1. Tell me about yourself

2. What are your strengths?

3. What are your weaknesses?

4. Why did you leave your last job?

5. Tell us about your education.

6. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

7. What kind of salary do you expect?

8. Do you have any questions for me/us?

9. What are your short-term goals?

10. What are your long-term goals?

1. What are your weaknesses?

“What are your weaknesses” is one of the most popular questions interviewers ask. It is also the most dreaded question of all. Handle it by minimizing your weakness and emphasizing your strengths. Stay away from personal qualities and concentrate on professional traits: “I am always working on improving my communication skills to be a more effective presenter. I recently joined Toastmasters, which I find very helpful.”

2. Why should we hire you?

Answer “Why should we hire you” by summarizing your experiences: “With five years’ experience working in the financial industry and my proven record of saving the company money, I could make a big difference in your company. I’m confident I would be a great addition to your team.”

3. Why do you want to work here?

By asking you, “Why do you want to work here?” the interviewer is listening for an answer that indicates you’ve given this some thought and are not sending out resumes just because there is an opening. For example, “I’ve selected key companies whose mission statements are in line with my values, where I know I could be excited about what the company does, and this company is very high on my list of desirable choices.”

4. What are your goals?

When you’re asked, “What are your goals?” sometimes it’s best to talk about short-term and intermediate goals rather than locking yourself into the distant future. For example, “My immediate goal is to get a job in a growth-oriented company. My long-term goal will depend on where the company goes. I hope to eventually grow into a position of responsibility.”

5. Why did you leave(or why are you leaving) your job?

If an interviewer asks, “Why did you leave (or why are you leaving) your job?” and you’re unemployed, state your reason for leaving in a positive context: “I managed to survive two rounds of corporate downsizing, but the third round was a 20% reduction in the workforce, which included me.”

If you are employed, focus on what you want in your next job: “After two years, I made the decision to look for a company that is team-focused, where I can add my experience.”

6. When were you most satisfied in your job?

The interviewer who asks, “When were you most satisfied in your job?” wants to know what motivates you. If you can relate an example of a job or project when you were excited, the interviewer will get an idea of your preferences. “I was very satisfied in my last job, because I worked directly with the customers and their problems; that is an important part of the job for me.”

7. What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?

Emphasize what makes you unique when you’re asked, “What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?”. This will take an assessment of your experiences, skills and traits. Summarize concisely: “I have a unique combination of strong technical skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. This allows me to use my knowledge and break down information to be more user-friendly.”

8. What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?

It’s time to pull out your old performance appraisals and boss’s quotes to answer the question, “What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?”. This is a great way to brag about yourself through someone else’s words: “My boss has told me that I am the best designer he has ever had. He knows he can rely on me, and he likes my sense of humor.”

9. What salary are you seeking?

When you’re asked, “What salary are you seeking?” it is to your advantage if the employer tells you the range first. Prepare by knowing the going rate in your area, and your bottom line or walk-away point. One possible answer would be: “I am sure when the time comes, we can agree on a reasonable amount. In what range do you typically pay someone with my background?”

10. If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?

Don’t be alarmed if you’re asked, “If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?”. Interviewers use this type of psychological question to see if you can think quickly. If you answer “a bunny,” you will make a soft, passive impression. If you answer “a lion,” you will be seen as aggressive. What type of personality would it take to get the job done? What impression do you want to make?

Question 9: What are your goals in five years horizon?

I can get along with everyone. All I want to be sure about when it comes to my boss and colleagues is that they are qualified for the job we do. When I see the level of proficiency in this interview, I am sure they are.

Question 12: What are your salary expectations?

First of all, salary is not a deciding factor for me. I really like the job description and want to get this job. Therefor, I will accept an average salary for this position what is something between $35,000 and $40,000, according to my knowledge and statistics from salaries.com.

Question 13: When can you start the job?

I am ready to start as soon as possible.

I could possibly start tomorrow, but I want to finish the project I currently work on. It would be very unprofessional and irresponsible if I left now. I need two or three weeks to finish the work and train colleagues to continue it. Then I can start here.

Question 14: Do you have any questions?

What are the next steps of interviewing process?

Can you tell me something more about the working environment?

What are the goals of your company (sales department) in one, five and ten years time?

1.Tell me about yourself.

I have been in the customer service industry for the past five years. My most recent experience has been handling incoming calls in the high tech industry. One reason I particularly enjoy this business, and the challenges that go along with it, is the opportunity to connect with people. In my last job, I formed some significant customer relationships resulting in a 30 percent increase in sales in a matter of months. What I am looking for now is a company that values customer relations, where I can join a strong team and have a positive impact on customer retention and sales.

HR常见的面试理论是STAR原则,所谓STAR原则,即Situation(情景)、Task(任务)、Action(行动)和Result(结果)。

2. Why this job?

在准备这个问题的时候,你也可以想一想how bad do you want this job?

I understand that this is a company on the rise. As I’ve read on your website and in various press releases, you are planning to launch several new products in the coming months. I want be a part of this business as it grows, and I know my experience in product development would help your company as you roll out these products.

3. Why this company?

I noticed in the company’s recent announcement that it’s going public and would need a new set of accounting skills. I have relevant applicable certifications and skills. So I think I can add to the existing accounting team during the company's transition.

这就是YOU attitude(不是your attitude),把对方/公司放在第一位的思考方式。

4. Why you?

From our conversations, it sounds as if you're looking for someone to come in and take charge immediately. It also sounds like you are experiencing problems with some of your database systems. With my seven years of experience working with financial databases, I have saved companies thousands of dollars by streamlining systems. My high energy and quick learning style enable me to hit the ground and size up problems rapidly. My colleagues would tell you I'm a team player who maintains a positive attitude and outlook. I have the ability to stay focused in stressful situations and can be counted on when the going gets tough. I'm confident I would be a great addition to your team.

5. Why are you leaving your present job?

a) That might be a little harsh. I know that my former company is trying to do its best under the circumstances. I’m looking for a company that’s a better fit for me.
b) I believe I am better suited to work in an organization that has a strong commitment to mentoring and developing executives, where there is a strong sense of loyalty on both sides and a culture that fosters career development and growth.
c) I realize that there are some companies that are in highly intense growth mode, or have over-arching financial or business pressures and problems that can’t possibly foster this type of culture. While this is all well and good for some, I don’t want to work for the latter. It just does not feel like a good fit for me.

Never badmouth the boss or the company.
